The Oregon AIDS Education and Training Center, in collaboration with the Oregon Health Authority, is hosting a FREE two-day training event for individuals in a professional role to support those living with HIV along the care continuum. This includes clinicians, nurses, pharmacists, case managers, care coordinators, and community health workers. This year’s event will center on equity and improving health outcomes in rural Oregon. In-person participation will be limited to 150 people, with priority given to Oregon professionals who receive HIV prevention or care funding from OHA. To ensure content is available to all who are interested, this event will be simulcast when possible.
Preceding this event, we will host PrEP Connect, a FREE half-day conference focused on HIV prevention, to bring stakeholders together to strategize innovative approaches to expand PrEP access in the state.
Registration for both of these events is now open!
Application for CME credit will be filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians, Oregon Board of Pharmacy, National Association of Social Workers and the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC).
